Roasting Tomatillos for Salsa Verde EASY RECIPE Homemade with Sweet Jalapenos DIY – Delicious!
Greetings everyone, welcome to my channel, I’m going to show you how to roast fresh tomatillos in the oven for the perfect Salsa Verde. If you have tried to locate these in the stores and cannot, this recipe will make it easy for you to roast it in your oven, flavor changer! Your salsa cravings will forever be changed with this amazing roasting process. Watch video for all steps to making this awesome recipe!
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb Fresh Tomatillos
1/3 Cup Sonya’s Sweet & Spicy Jalapenos
1/3 Cup Chopped white onions
Bunch of fresh Cilantro
Salt and pepper to taste
Your favorite tortilla chips
OTHER EQUIPMENT:
Oven or grill for roasting
Aluminum foil
Blender
Tongs
Serving bowl
Preheat your oven to 380°F and roast tomatillos for 40 minutes or when the tomatillos become blackened. Remove from oven and let cool at room temperature. Add tomatillos to blender, add the onions, sweet jalapeños, cilantro and salt and pepper to taste blend until smooth and completely blended. Serve and enjoy!
